Dr. Tina Wagner has been Director-General for Transport at the Ministry of Transport and Mobility Transition in Hamburg since summer 2023. She works for the Federal City of Hamburg since 2009. Her goal is to provide good mobility services for the people of Hamburg and to drive sustainability and innovation in transport. A central task of the 20s and 30s will be the modernization and expansion of the rail infrastructure and important stations. The digitalization of mobility on road and rail are also important aims, including autonomous driving in local public transport. From 2003 to 2008, she worked in research, consulting and teaching at the Institute for Transport Planning and Logistics at Hamburg University of Technology. She holds a doctorate in civil engineering and a Master of Applied Science in Environmental Management.
