The Emerging Leaders Programme empowers the next generation of public transport professionals at the UITP Summit in Hamburg. It brings together young talents, senior leaders and global experts to exchange insights, expand networks and accelerate careers in mobility.

About the Programme
The Emerging Leaders Programme (previously known as the Young Leaders Programme) supports the next generation of public transport professionals by creating meaningful opportunities to connect, learn and grow. The programme is part of UITP’s NextGen initiative, which brings together several activities aimed at developing young professionals within the sector.
Throughout the UITP Summit, participants engage in curated activities designed to encourage dialogue with senior sector leaders, expand industry knowledge and build strong international networks.
The programme welcomes a group of 50 participants and is open to public transport professionals aged 35 or under from UITP Premium Member organisations and UITP Policy Board Member organisations only.
Interested candidates must complete an Expression of Interest form to be considered for the programme. Participation is limited to three participants per organisation.
Selected participants benefit from access to the UITP Summit Exchange Pass at a preferential rate of €980 (excl. VAT).
