Angelo MEULEMAN

Angelo Meuleman is a sustainable and shared mobility expert with nearly 20 years of experience. He has contributed to national and international projects focused on enhancing inclusivity and improving mobility in rural areas. His work spans carpool initiatives, car-sharing policies with cities and regions—including contributions to the Cambio car-sharing system—and the introduction of ‘mobility hubs’ in Belgium. He is also a co-founder of the groundbreaking Shared Mobility Rocks conference. Angelo has been involved in volunteer transport services for seniors, collaborating with citizen initiatives. He has held strategic roles at organizations such as Netwerk Duurzame Mobiliteit, Traject, Mobipunt vzw and Olympus Mobility. As Chair of UITP’s Shared Vehicles Committee, he advocates for the integration of shared mobility into public transport systems. Now, through To Zest, he provides advise and training on mobility solutions, helping cities and organisations accelerate the transition to fair and future-proof mobility systems.
