Transition to C-ITS Prioritisation in Public Transport

The visit will showcase the technology transition in public transport prioritising  towards Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) with Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) technology. V2X technology enables seamless communication between vehicles and infrastructure and is used for a dynamic and demand-based prioritisation of buses at traffic lights. Networking via near and far field communication and universal traffic light control logistics are featured in the project called ITS Cube. 

Participants can expect  demo bus rides on a specially designed pilot track, where visitors can experience ITS prioritisation in action. A highlight of the tour will be the stop for a presentation on cutting-edge technology at the impressive Hamburg Bunker.
