Shiao-Lien CHAO

Chairman Shiao-Lien CHAO holds a master's degree from the Institute of Transportation at National Chiao Tung University and has extensive experience in transportation management and operations. He has served as Director-General of the Kaohsiung City Government’s Marine Bureau; Commissioner of the Department of Rapid Transit Systems and the Transportation Department of New Taipei City; Spokesperson of Taoyuan International Airport; Deputy Chief Engineer of the Bureau of High Speed Rail; Director of the Taoyuan County Transportation Department; as well as held various key positions within the Taipei City Government Department of Rapid Transit Systems. With over 30 years of dedication to metro system construction and operation, his expertise is widely recognized.
