Since January 1, 2024, Robert Henrich has been the CEO of Hamburger Hochbahn AG. Previously, he was the Managing Director of MOIA GmbH, responsible for establishing an on-demand ride-pooling service in Hamburg and worked with Volkswagen AG and Argo AI on future driverless mobility solutions.

Since 2013, he has led the development and rollout of an intermodal mobility platform in Europe and the USA as Managing Director of moovel Group GmbH. As Managing Director of Daimler Mobility Services GmbH, he was also responsible for Daimler AG's mobility strategy and for corporate investments in mobility startups, including Mytaxi GmbH (now Free Now) and Flixbus GmbH. In 2007, Robert Henrich initiated the business model of station-independent car sharing and, as founding Managing Director of car2go GmbH, was responsible for its development into the world's largest car-sharing company.

Prior to that, he held various positions at Daimler AG and Daimler Financial Services AG. For many years, Robert Henrich has been committed to close cooperation between industry, startups, public transport companies, research, and politics to create attractive mobility alternatives to private cars and to advance the mobility transition. His work has been widely recognized. Robert Henrich completed a commercial apprenticeship and studied social sciences. He was born in 1969, is married, and has three children.
