He is an economist from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), where he also earned a master’s degree in Economic Development, with additional specializations in project evaluation, financial derivatives, and econometric modeling. He currently serves as Director General of the Mobility Institute of the State of Quintana Roo. Prior to this role, he led the Yucatán Transportation Agency, the first autonomous transportation authority in Latin America.

His public sector experience includes key leadership positions such as Director of the Institute of Mobility and Urban Development of Yucatán, Technical Secretary for Planning and Evaluation in the same state, Deputy Secretary of Social Development in Nuevo León, and National Coordinator for States and Municipalities at the National Commission for Regulatory Improvement (CONAMER). In the private sector, he has advised on smart city development initiatives across multiple states in Mexico, contributing to innovation in urban mobility and infrastructure
