Mareike RAUCHHAUS

Mareike has been responsible for Comms and Public Policy at nextbike for over a decade. She has played a key role in the company's development from a pioneer of micromobility to the market leader in bike sharing. She was featured in Die Zeit as one of the 100 most important young East Germans.

She is founding member of the CIE Bike Sharing Expert Group, is board member of Zukunft Fahrrad, leads the Saxon hub of Women in Mobility and has recently co-founded Women In Cycling Germany. For this woman, the (shared) bicycle is one of the most important means of transport for daily routes besides reducing pollution, noise and much more with comparatively little investment. For her, multimodal mobility is not a vision of the future, but a lived reality.
