Márcio Hannas is the President of Motiva Infraestrutura de Mobilidade S.A., leading major urban mobility operations across Brazil. He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from ITA and an MBA from UCLA. With over 30 years of executive experience, he has led strategic roles at Vale, Hyundai CAOA, and VLT Carioca. At Motiva (formerly CCR Mobilidade), he drives modernization of metros, trains, and VLTs in São Paulo, Rio, and Salvador. He champions fare and modal integration, sustainability, and innovation—including Brazil’s first green hydrogen VLT. Under his leadership, Motiva has invested billions in rail infrastructure and digital transformation. Hannas advocates for public-private partnerships and long-term planning for urban transport. His work aligns Brazilian mobility projects with global climate goals toward COP30.
