Luis Felipe ARELLANO

Secretary of Finance of the Municipality of São Paulo and career Municipal Attorney, Luis Felipe Arellano has held the position of Deputy Secretary of Finance in SF since February 2018, where he has also held the positions of Undersecretary of the Municipal Treasury and Director of the Department of Defense of Capitals and Assets of the Municipality. As a public servant, in addition to being a Municipal Attorney, he belonged to the Tax Audit staff, both at the Municipal Treasury and at the Federal Revenue of Brazil. Over the past few years, he has served as a member of the Board of Directors and Fiscal Council of municipal and state state-owned companies. He holds a PhD in Economic and Financial Law from the University of São Paulo – USP, a Specialist in Economic Analysis from the Foundation Institute for Economic Research – FIPE/USP, and an MBA in Advanced Management of Public Finance from the Dom Cabral Foundation – FDC.
