Javier SESMA

Javier Sesma is Senior Vice President of Global Business Development at TK Elevator, overseeing key global accounts, strategic partnerships, and major projects. With over 29 years of experience in business development, innovation, and international expansion—including assignments in the U.S. and UK—he has played a key role in shaping TKE’s innovation strategy. As General Manager of TKE’s global Research and Innovation Center for 14 years, he led the development of groundbreaking technologies like iwalk, ACCEL, MULTI, MAX IoT, and HoloLinc, contributing to over 80 patents. He serves as Vice President and Board Member of APD2, is active in the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), and participates as a jury member for global tall building awards. Sesma also holds advisory roles in science and innovation foundations, including COTEC and the Asturias Government. He holds advanced degrees in engineering and business, and contributes to executive education and global forums.
