Glen GOWER

Glen Gower was elected as a City Councillor for the City of Ottawa in 2018, and re-elected in 2022. He currently serves on a number of city committees and community boards, including as Chair of the Transit Committee, Vice-Chair of the Planning and Housing Committee, and a member of the Transit Long Range Financial Plan Working Group. Volunteering and public service has been an important part of Glen’s life for as long as he can remember, and continues to be a focus in his role as City Councillor. He is also an avid transit user and a champion for active transportation.
