Gerhard GREITER

Gerhard Greiter is a seasoned manager with extensive experience in the rail industry. Currently, he serves as the CEO North-East Europe at Siemens Mobility. In this role, he oversees a diverse range of projects and initiatives across 18 countries. Before he headed the global mainline rail automation business and was CEO of Siemens Mobility Switzerland.

Throughout his career, Gerhard has demonstrated a strong commitment to innovation and leadership. He has played a pivotal role in numerous high-profile projects, including the ERTMS Signaling One DataCenter approach for Norway, and the new, innovative XXL S-Bahn trains for Munich. He takes great pride in motivating team members and took over the role of booth captain for Siemens Mobility at the last two InnoTrans trade fairs in Berlin. His Swiss roots and passion for nature drive his commitment to addressing climate change through sustainable mobility solutions. Gerhard Greiter is married and has 3 kids.
