Mrs. Farah Bouqartacha has holds doctorat in Biology Option Microbiology She started her career in 1993, immediately after being hired by the government authority in charge of the environment, where she held several positions. She has acquired, through her experience of 31 years of work in the field of environment and sustainable development, skills and experience in the areas of coordination at the national and international levels for programs and projects related to the preservation of the environment and sustainable development.

 

She also participated in negotiations with donors to finance environmental projects and represented Morocco in international conferences on waste management, chemicals and environmental risks. 2007 to May 2015, she joined the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (ONUD) in Rabat, To occupy the duties of the national coordinator of the national program for the disposal of equipment contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), where Ms. Bouqartacha supervised the establishment of the national Platform for the disposal of PCB. After the end of this mission, Ms. Bouqartacha joined the government sector in charge of the environment, where she following her appointment at the head of Strategy and Sustainebale Developpment Directorate, the position she occupies until now, where she coordinates the download of the national strategy for sustainable development as well as monitoring environmental situation at the national level and preparing reports in this regard.
