David MEAD

David is currently the CEO of CDC NSW with responsibility for 2,600 staff and 17 depot locations throughout NSW covering both the Metropolitan and Outer Metropolitan contract areas held by CDC NSW. David has held this role since July 2023. Prior to CDC NSW, David was the Vice President for Asia Pacific at Volvo Bus.

With responsibility for a team and markets spread across Asia Pacific geography he was involved in the development of the Volvo Bus business for almost 20 years taking the Australian business to the number one market position in 2011 – a position they still proudly hold today. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA, both specialising in Marketing.
