Anja WENMAKERS

Anja Wenmakers has been CEO of the transport division of Stadtwerke Bonn since 2017 and CEO of Stadtwerke Bonn GmbH since 2025. As a board member of the Academy of the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV), she contributes her practical expertise. She is known in the industry for her concise statements in favor of a uniform local transport tariff throughout Germany with reliable funding secured by the federal and state governments.

Working with and for people is her main focus. This is why she is also involved in the strategically important International Association of Public Transport (UITP) as “Ambassadrice” for Germany on the Policy Board and the Business and Human Resources Committee.
