Aviation: Public Transport as a vital backbone for connected cities

The visit will showcase Hamburg Airport’s implementation of net zero goals featuring the airport as a mobility hub. Participants can expect a tour of the airport featuring smart mobility solutions like e-taxi charging, lanes for shared mobility providers, connections by bus, suburban railway, bike-sharing, car-sharing and many more. With these innovative features every guest in Hamburg can choose from a wide range of convenient transport options. Another topic will be the implementation of measures reducing carbon emissions in the airport itself. This includes the use of hydrogen. Afterwards a guided visit to key locations featured in the presentations will follow.
