In addition to research and development projects such as KIRA and ULTIMO, in which practical experience is gathered, we would also like to demonstrate the effects of autonomous driving in terms of traffic, economic, social and environmental figures. The questions are: What could the mobility system in Germany look like in 2045 with autonomous driving in a steady state? How would this mobility system change the modal split?
