Sylvain TOUSIGNANT

With more than 20 years of experience in public service, Sylvain Tousignant is the On-Demand Mobility Director at the Montreal Sustainable Mobility Agency and former Bureau du taxi de Montréal's General Manager. He is the Chair of the UITP On-demand Mobility Committee and has extensive expertise thorough knowledge related to On-Demand Mobility. Recognized for his participatory leadership, he systematically integrates the consultation of each of the stakeholders in his approach. He works with the various levels of government, industry partners and various groups directly and indirectly related to the On-Demand Mobility industry. Among his accomplishments is the launch of the BONJOUR brand image for Montreal taxis and yhe implementation of the Taxi Registry, an open data platform collecting real-time data on the location and availability of Montreal taxis. This project offers very promising opportunities in mobility management, like the connection to international TRANSIT App.
