Nenad MIJATOVIC

Dr. Nenad Mijatovic is the Chief AI and Data Scientist at Alstom, where he leads AI and data science teams in developing cutting-edge Machine Learning and AI solutions for mobility challenges. With over 25 years of experience in algorithm development, machine learning, and artificial intelligence and more than a decade of expertise in the rail industry, Dr. Mijatovic has held R&D and leadership roles across startups, blue-chip companies, and academia. He is the author or co-author of 10+ patents and 30+ academic papers focused on leveraging AI to drive innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in transportation. In addition to his professional achievements, Nenad is passionate about promoting STEM education among young women and inspiring the next generation of technical leaders. Outside of work, he enjoys reading science fiction, philosophy, and history, playing tennis, and appreciating art.
