Ester LITOVSKY holds a Degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and a Postgraduate degree in Transportation Planning and Economics from the Institute for Economic Development of the World Bank. With more than 45 years of experience in transport planning, she has held management positions during more than 30 years, both in public transport authorities and operators. Currently she is Director of Strategic Planning at EMOVA, the concessionaire of the Metro network of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a member of various International Transport Associations: • President of UITP Latin America and UITP Vice-President, being an active member of the Executive Board and Policy Board, • Coordinator of the Planning Committee of ALAMYS. • Chair of the Steering Committee of COMET, coordinated by Imperial College London until December 2024. Speaker in many international transport forums. She was a consultant for the United Nations and multilateral development banks.
