Rashidiya Metro Depot

Join us for a presentation and live demonstration at the Metro Depot at Rashidiya, which houses 64 trains and the rail operations centre that controls daily operations across both Red and Green Lines. The centre also controls rail traffic, communication systems, electrical transformers, and the electric supply system for trains and stations. It monitors safety systems including the fire-fighting, tunnel ventilation, and the functionality of doors, brakes, and engines on each train. The centre also provides emergency communication channels with rail passengers.

World Islands + Dubai Ferry (From Al Ghubaiba)

This briefing outlines the Marine Department’s Master Plan and the Dubai Ferry’s operational model, designed to support sustainable marine transport while linking key waterfront developments. And then you will experience it firsthand on a round-trip ferry journey from Al Ghubaiba to the floating bridge. Tram Depot Visit

The Tram Depot at Al Sufouh houses both the Operation Control Centre (OCC) and the Maintenance Depot. The OCC provides centralised control of Dubai Tram services, with location tracking, traffic regulation functions, power supply control, CCTV, passenger information systems, access control, and comprehensive equipment status monitoring.
The Maintenance Depot includes stabling facilities, inspection bays, workshop space, heavy cleaning areas, roof cleaning facilities, sanding areas, and a wash plant for exterior cleaning.

Traffic Management Center

Dubai Intelligent Traffic Systems Centre (DITSC) is the central hub for managing and optimising traffic operations across Dubai’s roads. The centre provides 24/7 city-wide oversight of traffic conditions, allowing proactive management of congestion, incidents, and major planned events. DITSC is powered by iTraffic, Dubai’s custom-built advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS), which integrates real-time data from ITS devices including radar vehicle detectors, Bluetooth sensors, and road weather information systems. This unified platform allows operators to monitor, detect and verify incidents quickly, implement traffic signal control strategies, and deliver timely information. By using analytics, AI, and decision-support tools, DITSC improves journey time reliability and road safety, and supports a resilient, future-ready urban transport system.

Entreprise Command Control Center (EC3)

The Enterprise Command & Control Centre (EC3) is one of the world’s largest and most modern control centres. It uses intelligent technologies to integrate and control public transport including Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram, taxis, and traffic systems control centres.

EXPO 2020 Metro Station

EXPO 2020 Metro Station is part of the Dubai Metro network on Route 2020 – an extended branch of the Red Line that opened in June 2021 to support the movement of millions of visitors during the global event. The station reflects Dubai’s commitment to innovation and sustainability through spacious platforms, vending machines, information kiosks, and accessibility features. Its design also embraces the Expo’s theme of ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’ through futuristic design elements.

Museum of the Future – Dubai Mobility Labs

On this visit, you will discover more about Dubai Mobility Labs (DML) – a pioneering initiative led by RTA to create a robust testing environment for new vehicles and revolutionise transport in Dubai.

WeRide Autonomous Taxi

Experience self-driving mobility in action with this 15-minute autonomous vehicle tour. This project aims to launch Self-Driving Taxis in Dubai during the first quarter of 2026, with a target of 4,000 vehicles by 2030, in collaboration with RTA’s partners: Baidu Apollo, WeRide & Uber, and Pony.ai.
