Martin Bill has been State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Mobility Transition since 10 June 2020. In this function, he is shaping the transition to greener, more sustainable and more efficient mobility in the city of Hamburg and northern Germany. As Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Hamburg Transport Association, he has been one of the driving forces behind the development of the ‘Deutschlandticket’. Martin Bill was a member of the Hamburg Parliament from 2013 to 2020 and Deputy Chairman of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen Hamburg from 2017 to 2021. He worked intensively on the key issues of mobility, climate protection and urban development.
