Autonomous Abra

Experience autonomous waterborne transport firsthand with RTA’s Autonomous Abra at Al Jaddaf Marine Transport Station. Following Dubai’s self-driving strategy, RTA has developed the world’s first public transport autonomous vessel – an electric vessel carrying eight passengers operating on inland water routes. Sea trials confirm the vessel achieves Level 5 autonomy according to Lloyd’s Register Code, manoeuvring, evading obstacles, and changing course without human supervision.
